Howard Street Guest House

Andrea Gray is the proprietor of the Howard Street Guest House as well as a talented visual artist and designer. When I first met with Andrea, I brought my camera to capture the look and feel of the space and it became immediately apparent that this space was a reflection of her own aesthetics and fascination with eclectic art and furnishings. I used these initial photographs to develop a color palette that I used to present concepts for her website. The objective was to create a simple, clean site that reflected the whimsy and charm of the Guest House while giving her administrative tools to show the availability of the Guest House using Google Calendar without the need to edit html or access FTP servers. The home page is a mosaic of imagery that captures the essence of the Guest House over the seasons.
