Concept 2 ErgCoach iOS App

In 2011 I was approached by Concept 2, world leaders in indoor rowing machines, to design UI concepts for their Erg Coach iOS application. I worked together with Concept 2 and Empower Mobility to design UI solutions for an iPad app that would allow coaches to monitor athletes training in real-time, capturing and displaying ergonometer data from multiple individual rowing machines. This was prior to iOS 7 when skeumorphic design was standard practice.

In 2012, all IOS apps were loaded onto devices exclusively from the iTunes desktop application. This presentation of apps in the iTunes application provided a useful context for presenting application icon concepts.
